We hope you all enjoyed your weekend! It’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of May. This year is flying by and we still have so much to look forward to. We hope you all got something out of the video teaching last week. We are excited about the new series on prayer and we believe it will be very beneficial. We want to thank each of you that came out on Wednesday night to faithfully serve the heart and vision of our church. We are so thankful for all that you do.

We hope you can all come back out this Wednesday as we continue to be a part of what God is doing in our community through Faith Family Church. And as always, don’t come alone!

We also want to remind you to continue to pray for our leaders. We believe we have amazing pastors who continually give of their lives to glorify God. We are able to do what we do because we have leaders that value and honor the next generation. Everything that we do at the United is done with a heart to support and extend the vision that God has given Pastors Mike and Barb. It is such a privilege to do what we do each week. Each week we see stories rewritten; let’s never let it get old.

We love you so much and we will see you on Wednesday!

90’s Night

We had so much fun last with our 90’s night theme. You all looked great! It looked like you all had fun and enjoyed the cookout too. Thank you so much for your amazing hearts to serve! We had another great crowd and more VIP’s, which you know couldn’t happen without your help.

Pastor Grant Pankratz had such a great message for us last night. We can never be reminded enough that we need to go and be the example of love, grace, mercy, and acceptance. I love that God didn’t design for one person to reach everyone, but he’s given each of us a part to play.

Thanks again for all you do… we love each and every one of you, and we love that we get to do this with you!

Remember that tomorrow night is May Mayhem… if you signed up to volunteer be sure to check planning center and see where you are scheduled. If you aren’t volunteering be sure you come out and help support our teams!

90’s Night

Hey Guys,

I hope you all had a great week! It feels like it’s been a while since we’ve seen you… last week with Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr was so good! We hope you all enjoyed it.

Just a reminder that this week is 90’s Night. So, come dressed up. If you don’t think you have anything to wear just head over to Forever21… anything tribal, pastel, denim… like I said – anything Forever21! We have Pastor Grant Pankratz coming in and you will not want to miss him! Grant oversees an amazing youth ministry in Oklahoma and has a heart for these generations! We will have lots of food and games, and you know that means you shouldn’t come alone! SO… dress up, bring someone and we will see you there!

Hey Guys,

We wanted to thank you again for being a part of last nights worship experience. We had a lot of VIP’s and over 14 people make life decisions. Seeing lives changed never gets old. We love your hearts to serve and be used by God.

I think it’s safe to say that the snake was a hit! My instagram feed has been full of pictures of that little guy. It’s always good to see people having fun at church.

Well, last night, Jordan continued on in our Jesus Is _____ series and taught on Jesus Is Welcoming You Home. He taught from Luke 19:1-10 on the story of Zaccheus. He was an outcast, didn’t have many friends and Jesus not only called him down from the place he was in but invited him to come with him. I love the picture this paints; Jesus has a place for everyone. He loves every single person just as they are and desires to have a relationship with them. We also looked at Ephesians 2:8-10 and were reminded once again that we were saved by grace. People all around us are longing to belong, longing to be accepted. They are hurting, alone and hopeless. We all need to embody this example of Jesus (Luke 19:1-10) and not just tell people to leave from their current situation or status or lifestyle but to come along side us and to let us help them – to let them know they belong. We need to show them Jesus.

Hey Guys,

We wanted to remind you that we are continuing our Jesus Is ______ series this week and it’s also our Gender Defender! Guys – wear something blue. Girls – wear something pink. We will have games, treats and  a special appearance that you won’t want to miss! Make sure you come out this Wednesday and sport your colors!

Also, remember that we have several things coming up at the United…

Wednesday May 1st – Rich Wilkerson Jr

Wednesday May 8th – Grant Pankratz

Friday May 10th – May Mayhem

If you haven’t signed up already to help at May Mayhem and you are able to help in any way, please do so this week.

We will see you Wednesday!

Jesus Is Not Impressed

Last night was amazing! We had 10 VIPs in High School and 3 in JV. We also had 5 students give their lives to Christ! Every week we are seeing lives changed and we couldn’t do it without you.Thank you for all of your time and your genuine love for our students… you are the best!

Last night, Jordan continued in our Jesus Is ________ series on the subject Jesus Is Not Impressed. We looked at John 19:28-30 when Jesus said, “It is finished”. Why is that so significant? Because it means we don’t need to finish it – He already has! We also looked at Romans 5:8 and Romans 8:31-32 and saw that he loves us not because we earned it but because he loves us! Plain and simple – HE LOVES US as we are, no matter what. And we were also reminded that he is with us because he is for us. I was so encouraged last night as I listened to the message and left knowing that God is always for me, always loves me and is always with me… because he loves me.

Again, thank you for everything that you do. We are reaching more and more people every single week and seeing those that are far from God come to know him personally. Lets all remember to look at and think of others knowing that they belong before they believe and long before they behave.

So here it is, our leaders blog, created to keep you in the loop and encouraged throughout each week. We honestly cannot thank each of you enough for your loyalty and dedication. We believe we have the BEST leaders and because of that we have the best students.

Remember tomorrow night starts our Four Weeks of Awesomeness! We have new merch in and we LOVE it and we know you will too! Remember to continue to encourage our students to invite. Everything we do is to make church fun and remind our students that God is fun, that he loves them and wants the best for them. We want to continue to create an atmosphere where “new” students feel at home… so, keep doing what you do best – LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE!

We will see you all tomorrow!
